Residential Remodels & Additions

High-quality remodels and additions for Bay Area homeowners — from a single room to your entire home.

Residential Work

Built for the way you live.

From whole-home remodels and additions, to kitchen or bathroom remodels, or anything in between — Velocity Construction Services brings 30+ years of experience to every residential project across the San Francisco Bay Area.

We work with homeowners who want the job done right: clear budgets, clean job sites, and finish work that holds up. Because we self-perform structural, drywall, electrical, and painting trades under one license, your project moves with fewer hand-offs and tighter coordination from start to finish.

Whether you're updating a tired kitchen, adding square footage for a growing family, or reimagining the whole house, our crews bring the same care and the same standard of workmanship to it all.

Our Scope

What we remodel.

From the rooms you use every day to whole new spaces, we handle the full range of residential construction.

Kitchens

The kitchen is where most homes live, and it's where good construction shows. We rework layouts, run new electrical and plumbing, and install cabinetry, counters, and finishes that work as hard as you do.

  • Layout & island reconfiguration
  • Custom cabinetry & countertops
  • Lighting, electrical & plumbing

Whole-Home Remodels

When you're ready to reimagine the entire house, we manage the whole project — opening up floor plans, updating systems, and tying every room together with a consistent level of finish.

One accountable team handles structure, drywall, electrical, and paint, so the work stays coordinated and on schedule.

Home Additions

Need more space? We design-build additions that look like they were always part of the house — new bedrooms, expanded living areas, second stories, and ADUs.

As a licensed General A & B contractor, we handle foundations, framing, and structural work in-house and manage permits from start to finish.

Questions

Homeowner FAQs.

How long does a residential remodel take?

It depends on scope. A bathroom may take a few weeks, a kitchen one to two months, and a whole-home remodel or addition several months. After we walk the project with you, we'll give you a realistic schedule up front and keep you updated as the work moves.

Can I stay in my home during the remodel?

In most cases, yes. For single-room projects like a bathroom or kitchen, many homeowners stay put while we seal off the work area and keep the rest of the house clean. For larger whole-home remodels, we'll talk through what's practical and help you plan around the busiest phases.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Velocity Construction Services is licensed in California under CSLB #1005278 — General A & B, plus C-9 drywall, C-10 electrical, and C-33 painting — and fully insured. Five classifications under one roof means much of your project is handled in-house.

How do I get an estimate?

Reach out through our contact page or give us a call. We'll set up a walkthrough, talk through what you're planning, and put together an honest, detailed estimate so you know what to expect before any work begins.
